Below is a Photo of Field Gate Street, East London. This is the Site of His First Gun Factory.
Below is a photo of the grandson of Henry Nock, the London gun maker. His name was Henry Wilkinson. He was the son of James Wilkinson of Wilkinson Sword, and Margaret Nock. We have yet to find a photo of Henry Nock.

Can anyone tell me if any portraits of Henry Nock the gunmaker exist? I have a wonderful late 18th century portrait of what is certainly a gunsmith and have no luck with identification. Many thanks, Doug
Hi Doug, I wish I could help you. A couple of the photo’s posted on this blog are from a guy who is a descendant of Henry Nock, but he has no photo’s of Henry Nock.
I will continue with this, I am soon to contact a number of contacts in the UK, including the gunmakers guild. I will certainly post whatever turns up. Thanks for the response. Doug
I hope you do, Doug. Look forward to hearing about anything information you may find.
