Morgan State University will dedicate monuments to its two most successful, and legendary coaches, Earl Banks, and Edward Hurt. The statues were designed and crafted by George Nock. Before coming to prominence as a sculptor in later life, Nock was a well known American football player, first at Morgan State University, then as a professional player in the National Football League.
