This is a very interesting book on the early history of the Eastern Shore of Virginia. Though there were Nocks in New England early in the colonial period, most Nocks in America can trace their families to Accomack {Accawmacke} County, Virginia. Click on the link below to read online.

Below is a photo of the grandson of Henry Nock, the London gun maker. His name was Henry Wilkinson. He was the son of James Wilkinson of Wilkinson Sword, and Margaret Nock. We have yet to find a photo of Henry Nock.
